The end of last year marked a 20 year anniversary for the Nirvana release “Nevermind.“ For a lot of people, both in the music business as well as music lovers, this record changed everything, Some of us remember where we were the first time we heard “Smells Like Teen Spirit“ . Butch Vig was interviewed and in talking about the vocal sessions for the record said that Cobain was not a fan of Headphones and used an old school trick of using a set of “ Auratone Sound Cubes “ out of phase and placing the mic in the null point, so that the artist could hear the mix and not be restricted to the cans, and no bleeding of audio would be recorded in the vocal track.
