Protecting your Gobblet’s
These days it’s not uncommon for people to get their accounts hacked. Protecting your files from unwanted eyes is a matter of great importance to us. Gobbler takes security very seriously. One unique thing about Gobbler is we actually encrypt your files BEFORE they are sent from your computer. Thus eliminating man in the middle attacks. Most other companies do the encryption on the server side (after they have been uploaded).
Today, we are happy to announce that Gobbler accounts can be further protected using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) . What is MFA? Its a security system where more then one form of authentication is implemented to verify the identify of the account holder. A simple username and password is not enough protection anymore. With MFA, after you have entered your username and passoword, you will be asked to enter a unique number generated by an app on your smartphone. This feature will prevent phishing and make it VERY difficult for anyone to have unauthorized access to your account.
